Exercise Physiology Eastwood
VITA Physio offers exercise physiology in Eastwood at Suite 407/160 Rowe Street, Eastwood NSW 2122, about two minutes’ walk from Eastwood Station. The Exercise Physiology (EP) service delivers evidence-based, personalised exercise to support injury recovery, chronic conditions, persistent pain, balance and mobility. Private health, Medicare care plans, NDIS, aged care, WorkCover and CTP are accepted.
Exercise physiology (EP) is one of the services that run from our Eastwood clinic, alongside physiotherapy, remedial massage, exercise rehabilitation and semi-custom orthotics. If you live in Eastwood, Marsfield or Ryde, this page explains who EP suits, what a program involves, how you can pay and how to book. For an overview of the service itself, see our exercise physiology page.
What is exercise physiology at VITA Physio in Eastwood?
Exercise physiology is guided, structured exercise used as treatment. At VITA Physio, our exercise physiologists create personalised, evidence-based programs to support injury recovery, manage chronic conditions and build long-term strength and wellbeing.
The aim is simple: to help you move with confidence. Rather than a generic gym plan, your program is built around your condition, your goals and how your body moves, and it is delivered at the clinic on Rowe Street.
Who is exercise physiology in Eastwood for?
EP is for anyone who wants safe, structured support to improve their health through movement. It is commonly used by:
- People living with chronic conditions
- People with persistent pain, including neck and lower back pain
- People recovering from recent injuries, including sporting injuries
- People with balance or mobility concerns
- Older adults who want to stay strong and independent
- People returning to activity after surgery or living with a neurological condition, often alongside physiotherapy
If your goal is to move better and feel stronger, EP offers a clear, guided pathway forward.
Can I use insurance, Medicare or NDIS for exercise physiology in Eastwood?
VITA Physio works with private health insurance, Medicare care plans, NDIS, aged care, WorkCover and CTP. Which one applies depends on your situation:
- Private health insurance: if your extras cover includes it, you can claim on the spot through HICAPS, which is available for most major insurers. Bring your health fund card.
- Medicare care plan: for patients managing an eligible chronic condition, with the referral your GP prepares under the plan.
- NDIS: VITA Physio is a registered NDIS provider for Therapeutic Supports, so participants with therapy funding in their plan can be seen here. Bring your plan or plan-manager details.
- Aged care: older patients with an approved package, invoiced through the package provider.
- WorkCover: work-related injuries, with your claim number and case manager details.
- CTP: injuries from a motor vehicle accident, with your CTP claim number.
Do I need a referral for exercise physiology?
No referral is needed for a private appointment, so you can book directly. If you are using Medicare, NDIS or another program, a referral may be required. If you are unsure, call (02) 9718 9580 before booking and our team will tell you what to bring.
How much does exercise physiology in Eastwood cost, and is there a gap fee?
Fees depend on the type of appointment and how you are paying for it, so the quickest way to get the current fee is to call the clinic on (02) 9718 9580 or email admin@vitaphysio.com.au and ask. If you claim through private health insurance, whether you pay a gap depends on your level of extras cover; with HICAPS on-the-spot claiming you pay only the gap at the end of your appointment.
How do I prepare for my first exercise physiology appointment?
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move in.
- Bring any scans or reports, plus your insurance, NDIS, WorkCover or CTP details.
- Note your symptoms, pain levels and injury history.
- Arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to settle in.
Where is the Eastwood clinic, and is there parking?
The clinic is on Level 4, Suite 407, in the Eastwood Centre Office Tower at 160 Rowe Street, Eastwood NSW 2122. The tower entrance is next to the ground-floor entrance of Eastwood Shopping Centre, beside Ningji Lemon Tea and opposite Chemist Warehouse. Take the lift to Level 4 and follow the signs to Suite 407.
- By train: Eastwood Station is on the T9 Northern Line, about two minutes’ walk from the clinic.
- By car: metered street parking on Rowe Street has short time limits; the Eastwood Shopping Centre car park and nearby public car parks suit longer sessions.
- Access: if you use a wheelchair, a walking frame or a pram, tell us when you book and we will confirm the most direct step-free route.
When you set your navigation, search for 160 Rowe Street, Eastwood rather than the station, because Rowe Street runs on both sides of the railway line.
Who runs VITA Physio?
VITA Physio (VITA PHYSIO PTY LTD) was founded in 2025 in NSW and is led by Joy Huang, Director and Principal Physiotherapist. It is a small team of fewer than ten, with qualified physiotherapists and massage therapists working alongside the exercise physiology service. The team speaks English and Chinese (维塔康复), so you can talk through your program in either language.
